How it works
- Pick a game. Tap a card above. It opens in your browser, on any phone, tablet or laptop.
- Choose how to play. Pass one phone around the group, or let everyone join a room on their own phone with a 4-letter code, a link or a QR code.
- Play. The app deals the secret cards, keeps the time and counts the points. Nobody has to sit out to run the game.
Your game is saved on the phone after every move. If the screen locks or the page reloads, open the game again and it carries on where you left off.

Play together online
Sketch, Impostor and Mafia have online rooms. One player taps Create room and shares the code or the link. Everyone else opens it on their own phone or laptop and joins with just a name. No accounts, no downloads.
Sketch works fully online: you draw and guess in the app. For Impostor and Mafia you talk to each other, so start a video or voice call first if you are not in the same room.

Questions
Is House Party Games free?
Yes. Every game is free to play. There is nothing to buy and no premium version.
Do we need to download an app or make an account?
No. The games run in the web browser of any phone, tablet or laptop. There are no accounts and no sign-up. You can add the site to your home screen if you like, but you do not have to.
Can we play with only one phone?
Yes. Impostor, Mafia, Blind Timer, Dots & Boxes and Memory all work on one phone that you pass around the group. Impostor and Mafia can also be played with each player on their own phone. Sketch needs one device per player.
Can we play with friends who are not in the same room?
Yes. Sketch, Impostor and Mafia have rooms: one player makes a room and shares the code or link, and everyone joins on their own device. For Impostor and Mafia you talk to each other, so use a video or voice call when you are apart.
Does it work offline?
The one-phone games keep working with no connection once you have opened them, especially when the site is added to your home screen. The online rooms need an internet connection.
How many players do we need?
Blind Timer and Memory work for 1 to 4 players, Dots & Boxes for 2 to 4, Sketch for 2 or more, Impostor for 3 or more, and Mafia for 5 to 16.
