About House Party Games.
House Party Games is a small collection of free party games that run in your web browser. Open a game, pass one phone around the room, or let everyone join on their own phone. That's it.
Why we made it
Party games on phones are often a pain. One person has to download an app, another needs an account, someone's battery is dead, and the narrator never gets to play. We wanted games that start in seconds at a dinner table, on a sofa or on a video call, and that work for the whole group.
So every game here follows a few simple rules:
- No app and no sign-up. A link is all you need. Add the site to your home screen if you like.
- One phone is enough wherever a game allows it, and everyone's own phone works too.
- Nobody sits out. The app deals the cards, keeps the time, runs the night in Mafia and counts the points.
- Your game is safe. A game is saved on your phone after every move, so a reload or a locked screen doesn't end it.
- Private by design. No accounts, no cookies, nothing to sell. See the privacy policy.
The games
- ImpostorEveryone gets the word except the impostor. 3+ players.
- MafiaSecret roles with the app as the narrator. 5–16 players.
- SketchDraw and guess online, each on your own phone. 2+ players.
- Blind TimerStop the clock without seeing it, or pass the timer bomb. 1–4 players.
- Dots & BoxesThe pen and paper classic, on one phone. 2–4 players.
- MemoryFlip the cards and find the pairs, or try Triples. 1–4 players.
More games are on the way. If there is a game your group loves and you would like to play it here, tell us.
How it works
The games are plain web pages. One-phone games run entirely on your device. For online rooms, the phones in a room pass game messages to each other through a real-time messaging service. Secret cards in Impostor and Mafia are encrypted for the player who owns them, so only that phone can open them.
The site is free to use. To keep it running we may show advertising in the future; if we do, we will say so here and in the privacy policy first.
